Job description

  • Primary responsibility of this role is to support Enterprise File Transfer Delivery Service (EFeDS) including design and configuration for customer onboarding as well as product enhancements and maintenance.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of Engineering experience from Design through the Build of technical solutions with minimum of 3 years of file transfer experience

  • Experience in testing and implementing managed file transfer solutions

  • Proven Knowledge of Axway Secure Transport, admin and troubleshooting

  • Administrative experience with Connect Direct file transfer system on Unix and Windows platform

  • Knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Control Center (formerly Sterling Control Center), IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, admin and troubleshooting

  • Experience using sftp and ftp protocols

  • Experience using security algorithms TLS and SHA-2

  • Understanding of security design for enterprise software systems

  • Professional customer-focused attitude at all times

  • Strong analytical, collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills

  • Proven ability to write clear and concise technical documents, including design documents, specifications and technology roadmaps.

  • Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of subject matter experts - Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation - Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment

  • Ability to influence successfully in a highly matrix or virtual organization

  • Demonstrates independent thinking and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to quickly receive and process information - Judgment to escalate risk based decisions appropriately Preferred Skills - Working knowledge or wiliness to learn IBM IIB, MQ, Mulesoft is a plus, but not required

  • Experience in managing home grown File Transfer systems

  • Demonstrated technical expertise across a variety of technology platforms and solutions Experience with and/or working knowledge of client of Business and applications -Understanding of file exchanges with Mainframe Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience, * This opportunity will allow you to work cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving environment from completing design documentation, to consulting with other engineers and architects, completing network and server build requests, installing and configuring software, among other things.

  • There are also opportunities to cross-train across multiple integration services using such technologies as IBM IIB and IIB MQ.

  • To be successful in this role, you must be an organized, self-starter with stellar leadership and communication skills, who can work independently building relationships and driving technical solutions from inception to completion.

  • This position requires the candidate be technically savvy and have a proven ability to work well in a highly dynamic environment and maintain a strong relationship with our customers and partners.
