Job description

As a Principal Transformation Technical Program Manager within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will develop and drive large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives that accelerate OCI's growth and operational excellence. This role requires a strategic leader who can operate at both the executive and execution levels-translating business priorities into actionable programs, aligning global stakeholders, and delivering measurable outcomes that align the strategic needs of the business.

Responsibilities

Strategic Transformation & Program Leadership

  • Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for the business unit, translating vision into actionable transformation programs that deliver measurable impact.
  • Lead the design, planning, and execution of large-scale transformation initiatives across data center capacity delivery, operational processes, and organizational capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across workflows, tools, and operational processes to optimize efficiency, scalability, and performance. Cross-Functional Partnership & Operational Excellence
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, product, and other stakeholders to integrate systems, tools, and processes that enhance business outcomes.
  • Influence organizational decisions by partnering on hiring, resource allocation, and capability development to support transformation objectives.
  • Ensure alignment and program momentum across multiple regions and teams, managing interdependencies and mitigating risks. Executive Communication & Influence
  • Deliver executive-level briefings, status updates, and program outcomes, presenting complex information in a clear and visually compelling manner.
  • Influence C-level decision-making through structured storytelling, data-driven insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on transformation strategy, program priorities, and operational readiness.

Program Delivery & Governance

  • Establish governance structures, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms to track program health, risks, and benefits realization.
  • Drive accountability across program teams, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Act as a change agent, fostering adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working throughout the organization. Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Requirements

  • Program & Transformation Leadership: 8-12 years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in hyperscale, cloud, or enterprise technology environments, with a proven ability to drive transformation and deliver measurable results.
  • Program Management Certification: Professional certification such as Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP required.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic roadmaps, align initiatives to business objectives, and manage interdependencies across multiple programs.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Expertise in process design, workflow optimization, and tool integration to enable scale and efficiency across global operations.
  • Executive Communication & Influence: Strong executive presence with the ability to create visually compelling content, present to C-level stakeholders, and influence decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of partnering with engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams to deliver outcomes in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, including data center delivery, server/GPU rack deployments, and large-scale infrastructure operations.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and drive solutions that balance technical feasibility, business impact, and long-term scalability.

  • Remote, U.S.-Based Coverage: Position is fully remote within the U.S., with flexibility to accommodate cross-time-zone collaboration.
  • Global Collaboration & Flexibility: Required to work across varied time zones (e.g., U.S., Asia-Pacific, EMEA), facilitating seamless stakeholder alignment and program continuity.
  • Occasional Travel: Must be available for periodic in-person engagements-such as leadership meetings, site visits, or critical program events.

Benefits & conditions

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
