Job description
We are seeking experienced Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) to support the migration of batch workflows from Autosys to Apache Airflow. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of Informatica-based data integration processes after migration., We are seeking experienced Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) to support the migration of batch workflows from Autosys to Apache Airflow. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of Informatica-based data integration processes after migration.
You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, validating data integrity, and ensuring seamless workflow orchestration in Airflow. The position involves close collaboration with development, migration, and business teams to identify defects, validate fixes, and support successful deployment. Additionally, the role may include contributing to Airflow plug-in development to support enterprise integration needs.
Requirements
This is a hands-on testing role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in data pipeline validation and workflow orchestration tools., 4+ years of experience in software testing or SDET roles
. Solid experience in software testing, particularly in data pipelines or ETL environments
. Strong understanding of workflow orchestration tools (preferably Apache Airflow and/or Autosys)
. Hands-on experience with Informatica or similar ETL tools
. Ability to design test strategies, test cases, and execute end-to-end testing
. Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks
. Familiarity with integration and regression testing in complex systems
. Proficiency in defect tracking tools like JIRA or ALM
. Basic knowledge of Python (useful for Airflow and test automation)
. Exposure to Airflow components such as DAGs, operators, sensors, or hooks is a plus
. Experience with test automation frameworks is beneficial
. Good understanding of scheduling, batch processing, and dependency management
. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data/workflow issues
. Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field., * AutoSys

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,300.00 - $137,100.00.
