Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise level applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Frontend Technologies (Angular), Cloud Platforms (AWS GCP Azure), DevOps practices, and experience leveraging AI assisted development and AI driven solutions. As a Senior Developer, you will guide the development team, ensure best coding practices, and drive the successful delivery of projects.
Essential Functions

Lead a team of developers, providing guidance on architecture, design, and coding best practices.

Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to define technical requirements.

Architect and implement scalable, high performance applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Microservices.

Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security through code reviews, best practices, and design patterns.

Leverage AI assisted development tools and frameworks to improve developer productivity, code quality, and solution design.

Evaluate, integrate, and implement AI based services or APIs where applicable to enhance application functionality and automation.

Drive agile methodologies, including scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design to deployment.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot, Jersey, and Hibernate.

Implement asynchronous messaging with Apache Kafka RabbitMQ.

Work with databases (SQL Oracle, NoSQL Firebase) for optimized data storage and retrieval.

Optimize performance and scalability using caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).

Develop responsive, interactive UI components using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Integrate UI components with RESTful APIs.

Ensure cross browser compatibility and UI performance optimization.

Collaborate with UX UI designers for seamless user experience.

Deploy applications on AWS GCP Azure with CI CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI CD).

Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters for application deployment.

Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, and Grafana.

Mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge sharing sessions.

Drive peer code reviews and unit testing.

Collaborate with cross functional teams (QA, DevOps, Security) to ensure seamless delivery.

Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables effectively.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.

5+ years of development experience including backend and frontend technologies.

1+ years of leading a team of developers.

Experience using AI assisted development tools (such as code generation, code review, testing, or documentation tools) and familiarity with integrating AI services or APIs into enterprise applications.

Strong problem solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work in Agile environments and adapt to fast changing requirements.

Well organized, detail oriented and a team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment.
