Core responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing NAM BIM team.
- Create and deploy BIM Execution Plans that work across grid programs.
- Oversee model federation and rigorous clash detection with clear issue management.
- Institute standardized data structures and naming conventions per ISO 19650.
- Fuse BIM outputs with digital twin dashboards for progress tracking and insight.
- Deliver Pre-BEPs and tender-stage time estimates to strengthen bids.
- Enable internal teams and partners through training on Autodesk platforms and best practices.
- Continuously improve workflows and assess new BIM tools and technologies.
- Safeguard compliance with all relevant internal and external requirements.
Technology stack Autodesk BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD-used to formalize information flow and produce repeatable, safe, and economical outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Engineering Drafting/CAD (minimum) with 8+ years of related experience.
- 5+ years leading BIM coordination and applying BIM methodologies on AEC/power projects.
- 2+ years of people leadership within BIM/CAD teams.
- Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks; strong BIM/data coordination proficiency.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650; certification welcomed.
- Exceptional communicator with proven leadership and multi-project time management.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
