Job description
Quirk Auto Dealerships is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, evolution and security of our organization's infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to system optimization and reliability.
Requirements
- Deep working knowledge in Windows desktop and server administration, troubleshooting and OS deployment.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 Admin Portal user management, licensing, service health, tenant configuration.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel (both as a user and as the person supporting 1,200 users)
- High proficiency in Entra ID identity management, conditional access, security groups, SSO configuration.
- Strong understanding of active directory management user accounts, group policy, domain controllers and OU structure.
- Experienced with network fundamentals firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in automotive dealerships, retail, or other distributed multi-location businesses.
- Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS) or similar industry-specific platforms.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk administration.
- Experience with firewall platforms like SonicWall or similar.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware refreshes or site buildouts.
- Background of managing ISP relationships and troubleshooting connectivity across many locations.
- Experience with Cloud-managed networking (UniFI, Fortinet cloud, or similar)
- Familiar with SharePoint administration and migration.
- IT asset management and lifecycle planning.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity insurance attestations or compliance audits
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred.

- Experience working with and managing external vendors (MSPs, ISPs, hardware suppliers)
- Successful completion of a background check, including but not limited to, a criminal record check, physical and drug screen and motor vehicle records check (if applicable to position).
