Manual Tester

• Perform manual functional testing including black box and grey box testing.
• Analyze requirements and collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Review and understand functional and technical design documents to develop effective test scripts.
• Design, create, and execute test cases based on identified test conditions.
• Prepare and manage test data required for execution.
• Execute manual and/or automation tests as per defined test plans.
• Document test results and log defects using standard defect tracking tools.
• Identify risks and report issues impacting testing timelines or quality.
• Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams for test execution and issue resolution.
• Manage day-to-day test process implementation and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Complete assigned technical and domain learning tasks within defined timelines.

• Strong experience in manual testing and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience writing and executing SQL queries.
• Experience with test management tools such as TFS.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and Agile development practices.
• Experience in defect reporting and management processes.
• Familiarity with multiple development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation testing tools (good to have).
• Exposure to enterprise-level applications and complex systems.
