Senior .NET Developer

This role is a backfill for a senior-level developer position requiring strong ownership and leadership. The client is seeking someone who can take initiative, contribute beyond assigned tasks, and actively drive product development. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building scalable applications and collaborating across teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to technical discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect software solutions
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code using .NET technologies
• Test, deploy, and maintain applications and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Refactor and optimize code for performance and scalability
• Create and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide ongoing technical support

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer
• Strong experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET framework, and C#
• Experience with AWS and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVC
• Experience working with APIs (REST, RPC)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Must be a senior-level professional with strong ownership and initiative
• Must be local to Chicago and able to work onsite in a hybrid model
