Job description
The Salesforce Developer / Platform Lead is a senior, hands-on individual contributor
responsible for the design, delivery, and long-term stewardship of Salesforce solutions
using a configuration- and Flow-first, code-when-necessary approach. This role blends deep
declarative expertise with strong Apex and integration capabilities to ensure solutions are
scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce platform best practices. The
Developer Lead partners directly with business stakeholders and end users to understand
business processes, clarify requirements, and translate needs into well-architected
Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Health Cloud. In addition to
delivery, this role plays a key part in shaping automation strategy, setting platform
standards, reducing technical debt, and modernizing existing functionality to support longterm organizational growth. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Salesforce
administrators and developers, promoting platform best practices and raising overall team
Requirements
Education - College degree, preferably a B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science or a
degree with Clinical focus from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in
programming in a distributed computing environment or clinical/healthcare experience
- Experience - 10+ years of experience in Information Technology or a similar field, with at least
5+ years focused on Salesforce.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Extensive hands-on experience working on the Salesforce platform in complex, multicloud environments.
- Expert-level experience with Salesforce configuration and Flow, including enterprisescale automation.
- Strong experience developing Apex classes, triggers, and integrations.
- Experience building and supporting Lightning Web Components.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, and sharing
model, along with security and restricted code concepts of managed packages.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with business users and
stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to
detail. Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification.
- Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Health Cloud.
- Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools, environment strategy, and metadata
deployment practices.
- Experience acting as a platform lead or technical owner within a Salesforce program
