Job description

Overview: We are seeking a Computer Deployment Lead to ensure all technology is seamlessly migrated, tracked, and maintained through stabilization. This role bridges the gap between technical execution and project management, requiring a detail-oriented leader who is as comfortable with a screwdriver as they are with complex data management., * Team Leadership: Supervise technicians in the breakdown, transport, and setup of workstations, VoIP phones, and AV hardware

  • Data Integrity: Manage and audit complex spreadsheets to track hundreds of assets, ensuring real-time accuracy of equipment locations and deployment status.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform audits of all hardware and software installations to ensure they meet standards.

  • Logistics Coordination: Act as the primary on-site liaison for the project team and onsite staff; manage task delegation to meet relocation deadlines.

  • Progress Reporting: Document daily milestones and provide technical escalations to the IT Project Manager., * Team Leadership: Supervise technicians in the breakdown, transport, and setup of workstations, VoIP phones, and AV hardware from site to site

Requirements

  • Advanced Data Management: High-level competency in maintaining spreadsheets with large data sets; must be comfortable with data entry and auditing.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead a technical team, manage workflow logistics, and maintain morale during high-pressure moves.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of PC/Apple/Chrome hardware, document cameras, and projectors.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for addressing staff questions/concerns and coordinating with leadership.

  • Physical & Travel: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and provide own reliable transportation between sites.

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
