Job description
As an Architect, you will design and lead the implementation of solutions that drive efficiency and address customer challenges. You will deliver on project scopes with a focus on technical excellence, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and future business growth.
What you'll do:
As an Architect you will collaborate with presales architects and sales teams to engage with clients, understand their objectives and identify new opportunities. You will provide presales solutions teams with level of effort estimates to ensure high customer satisfaction while maintaining project profitability and competitiveness.
In addition, your daily responsibilities will include leading projects as part of an implementation team. Your ongoing contributions to practice development and internal initiatives will enhance our project delivery efficiency. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with pre-sales and sales teams and clients to understand business requirements and design comprehensive technology solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development.
- Assume technical leader role during design and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Provide overviews of complex solutions, architectures, integrations and project updates with precision and clarity to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security standards and compliance best practices
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
- Mentor junior engineers
- Create and complete project documentation, using templates and maintain a high level of accuracy and quality.
- Contribute to the development and growth of the Azure Cloud Delivery Practice, including creating best practices, methodologies, templates and offerings.
- Timely timesheet submission and detailed work notes.
Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- 8+ years' work experience in a client-facing professional services role, or 10+ years of related industry experience
- Expert knowledge of Azure Services
- Expert technical knowledge of the following Microsoft Azure topics:
- Subscriptions Management
- Security and Monitoring
- Azure Policies
- Resource Organization
- Azure Identity and Access Management
- Azure Networking
- Cost Management
- Business Continuity Planning
- A strong understanding of infrastructure as code, Cloud automation, governance, and cost optimization
- An expert level understanding of technology components - client, storage, compute, virtualization, Networking, and Security
- Strong scripting skills in various languages and platforms, including PowerShell
- Excellent knowledge of core areas in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cloud Identity
- Application/Database/Infrastructure migrations from on-prem to Hybrid/Cloud
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation and consulting skills, including technical writing
- The ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of some or all the following technologies is an asset: DevOps tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, containerization concepts, and Kubernetes.
- Microsoft certification: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Network Engineer Associate and/or Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certs aligned with Specialty Path.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
Benefits & conditions
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in:
Texas,Pennsylvania, Illinois is $128,800 to $161,000 annually + 14% Target Incentives.
Georgia is $122,360 to $152,950 annually + 14% Target Incentives.
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
