Job description

  • Design, develop, and support cloud-based data management and data pipeline solutions
  • Implement decentralized data architectures with strong security and governance controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, highly available, and high-performance cloud data solutions
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize cloud data platforms, tools, and services
  • Monitor system performance and drive continuous optimization and improvement
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices
  • Lead data integration and engineering efforts using Informatica (IICS), Snowflake, SQL, and Python
  • Guide design and development of data layers and ETL processes
  • Conduct design reviews, document data architectures, and lead technical design sessions

Requirements

  • Strong AWS cloud data engineering experience designing and supporting enterprise data platforms
  • Extensive Snowflake expertise, including data warehousing, performance optimization, and large-scale datasets
  • End-to-end data pipeline development using ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica (IICS) and orchestration tools like Airflow
  • Advanced SQL and Python proficiency for data integration, transformation, and automation
  • Experience working with highly sensitive healthcare data and compliance standards (HIPAA, data governance, security controls)

Required Skills : * 5 years of experience in cloud data architecture, data warehousing, data modeling, ETL, and enterprise data systems * 5 years of experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake * 3-5 years of experience building cloud-based data solutions on AWS * Strong understanding and hands-on experience with decentralized data architectures * Proven experience designing and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines * Experience with large, multi-terabyte cloud data platforms * Proficiency with Informatica (IICS), Snowflake, and Airflow for data integration and orchestration * Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and system/database administration fundamentals * Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting solutions to technical and business stakeholders
