Principal Systems Security Engineer

Our Systems Engineers do a lot of amazing things, but for this role in particular you will:

• Design security architectures based on requirements from your analysis of adversary threats and proposed countermeasures
• Implement and test security countermeasures according to the guidance provided by the U.S. Government
• Work with Security State of the Art (S-SOTA) technologies
• Provide our customers with sophisticated, defense-in-depth security solutions

Candidates should be capable of working in a team environment designing and implementing innovative protection schemes with rapidly evolving technologies used in various applications throughout the company., * This role involves understanding systems engineering techniques and processes and requires a bachelor s degree plus eight or more years of work experience.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

We are very interested in candidates with any of the following experience:

• Cryptographic algorithm implementation
• Configuring security features of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) S-SOTA components
• Firmware development for COTS S-SOTA components such as Xilinx or Microsemi FPGAs
• Applying secure coding practices, securing operating systems, and virtualization
• Implementing and configuring security protocols
• Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
• Developing positive customer relationships
• Product design development and design analysis for manufacturability and maintainability
