Job description
Develops long range project plan scopes of work and budgets. Executes assigned planned O&M projects and capital projects. Assists ETS -E manager with the Outage Planning process, Boiler Tube Failure Reduction process, Risk Register and the 5-year budget plan and project management as needed and assigned in the ETS support group., Oversee long range and detailed project planning and execution of assigned unit projects according to the outage planning process.
Manages cost, schedule and safety processes for all assigned project scopes of work.
Interfaces with Plant Management personnel to communicate and drive to resolution of key issues impacting assigned projects. Foster positive working relationship with all ETS - E region plants.
Manages as necessary to deliver expected financial, safety and schedule results on assigned, scopes, projects, Outage Planning Process Reviews, ECD and 5-year budget planning.
Attend ETS monthly ROP meetings provides financial updates on assigned projects
Understands, negotiates, and influences contract language for vendors / contractors to protect Entergy's best interest.
Requirements
Associate's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or in related field or equivalent work experience preferred., Must have 3-5 years of Power Plant Maintenance related experience. Must have 2 years of demonstrated experience in a Project Management role.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
Power plant major component repair; MAXIMO, AIMM; ROP, OPP, Risk Register, Supply Chain and Accounting policies and procedures
EH&S policy knowledge; Compliance standards, especially Sarbanes-Oxley
Knowledge of industry standards related to modification of plant components and engineering standards
Microsoft Office suite.
ASME codes applicable to large power boilers and steam piping.
