Job description
Do you want to help customers adopt AI securely and at scale? As a Security Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), you'll be a trusted advisor helping organisations protect their AI workloads and data across the Microsoft cloud.
In this role, you'll work directly with customers to design practical security architectures-covering identity, data protection, cloud posture, and secure app development-so they can move quickly without increasing risk.
You'll focus on securing real-world AI scenarios, including Copilot, generative AI, and AI-enabled apps, using principles like Zero Trust and strong data governance to address risks such as data leakage and prompt injection.
What you'll get:
Work on cutting-edge security and AI projects
Build deep expertise across cloud, threat, and data security
Partner with enterprise customers and industry leaders
You'll join a supportive team with flexible working, structured onboarding, and time to build your skills-so you can make an impact quickly and grow over time.
Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) team helps organisations get real value from technology, and you'll play a key role in making AI adoption safe, trusted, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with customers by listening deeply, translating goals into security outcomes, and creating a safe space for technical decision-making.
- Lead architecture and design conversations for secure AI and cloud adoption, including identity, data access, threat protection, and governance across Microsoft Security.
- Guide customers to implement Zero Trust and "secure by design" principles for AI-enabled apps and workloads (e.g., least privilege, secure connectivity, secrets management, and secure data grounding patterns).
- Help customers assess AI security risks (e.g., data leakage, prompt injection, insecure plugins/connectors, and model supply chain risks) and map mitigations to Microsoft capabilities and customer controls.
- Accelerate adoption by removing technical blockers, delivering repeatable guidance, and partnering with engineering, product teams, FastTrack, and partners to drive customer success.
- Invest in your growth by keeping current on security and AI developments, sharing learnings with the team, and contributing to reusable assets (playbooks, reference architectures, and workshops).
Requirements
Hands-on experience implementing security controls (identity, access, data protection, threat detection) in cloud or enterprise environments
Experience with at least one enterprise security platform (e.g. Microsoft Defender / Sentinel / Entra / Purview or equivalent like Palo Alto, Splunk, CrowdStrike)
Experience advising on security architecture and turning requirements into practical technical solutions
Strong foundation in core security areas (Zero Trust, IAM, data protection, threat detection) with interest in AI / GenAI security
This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
