Job description
As a Team Lead Functional Analyst, you combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership responsibilities. You act as the key technical authority for your application portfolio while leading a team of Functional Analysts, ensuring high-quality delivery, efficient operations, and continuous improvement aligned with BRP's IT strategy., * Lead, coordinate, and develop a team of 5-8 Functional Analysts, including task allocation, coaching, and capacity planning.
- Active involvement in shaping and leading organizational change as part of building a Europe-wide IT function.
- Promoting the professional and personal development of team members.
- Own the full lifecycle of complex SAP/application projects: from feasibility and design to development oversight, testing, and go-live.
- Act as the main technical contact for business stakeholders, IT partners, and external vendors.
- Ensure high-quality functional design, technical documentation, and delivery standards across the team.
- Supervise and review work packages, acting as a quality gate before release.
- Support and resolve complex application incidents (2nd/3rd level) and act as escalation point.
- Manage SAP transports and coordinate system changes within the domain.
- Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and internal governance standards.
- Collaborate closely with ITBP, PMO, Solution Architects, and other teams; contribute to roadmap and budget planning.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable (HTL/University).
- 3-5 years of experience in SAP or ERP environments with strong functional and technical understanding.
- Proven experience in team leadership, coordination, or mentoring.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, functional design, and application support.
- Experience in global or multi-site IT organizations is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of ownership, structured working style, and team-oriented mindset.
- Fluent English

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 66,741.01 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry.
