Infrastructure Cloud Architect (AWS)

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure / Cloud Architect to support a large-scale modernization initiative within a regulated environment. This role is focused on architecting and guiding cloud transformation efforts rather than hands-on application development. The ideal candidate brings strong experience transitioning traditional data center architectures to cloud-based environments, with an emphasis on AWS, networking implications, and application readiness. This role is more strategic and structured in nature.

10 to 15 + years total experience in infrastructure, data center, and enterprise IT environments

• 5 to 8+ years of hands-on architectural experience with AWS cloud
• Architecture focused roles - strategy, design and guidance
• Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
• Strong documentation and architectural diagramming skills
• Strong background working in a regulated environment (e.g., pharma, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing)
• Prior experience providing architectural guidance rather than pure delivery or operations
• Ability to translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear, actionable guidance
• Hybrid role with onsite presence in King of Prussia, PA - expected onsite occasionally for white boarding sessions
