Job description
ECS is seeking a SME Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to work in our Washington, DC office.
As a SME Computer Systems Engineer/Architect , you'll plan, initiate, and manage
information technology (IT) projects, lead and guide the work of technical staff, serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of team projects, plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage, monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met to work to evolve military healthcare programs.
ECS will support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to include DHA J-6, PEO Medical Systems / CIO, and Engineering, Solutions Architecture and IT Business Analytics (ESA-BAD) Division by delivering comprehensive program management and advanced analytics services to enhance decision-making across critical healthcare IT initiatives. This effort integrates tools such as SEMOSS, Python, R, and AI-driven analytics to develop enterprise dashboards, perform predictive analysis, and streamline reporting and planning activities. We are looking for someone with knowledge of the health sector who leverages data analysis and reporting tools to extract insights from healthcare data, supporting critical decision-making within the military and defense healthcare systems.
Salary Range: $169,000-$179,000
Requirements
- Master or Ph.D degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with OCONUS / Global Program Management and with DoD IT systems maintenance and enhancements.
- 8+ years of DoD work experience.
- 15+ years total work experience in Business Intelligence.
- Advance knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior team members.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets.
- Statistical, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to quickly transition and reassess priorities to meet aggressive deadlines.
