Job description

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to work at their company in Columbia, SC., Review, edit, and develop proposal response content for:

  • RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, task orders
  • Federal, state, and commercial solicitations

Work on:

  • Cover letters
  • Resumes
  • Past performance
  • Technical & business volumes

Ensure compliance with:

  • CDS Writing Style Guide
  • Corporate standards
  • Solicitation requirements

Validate:

  • Technical terminology
  • Organizational names & acronyms

Own the technical editing process:

  • Ensure content is clear, complete, compliant, and customer-focused

Identify:

  • Gaps, risks, and content weaknesses

Recommend:

  • Strategic improvements to enhance proposal quality

Collaborate with:

  • Senior leadership
  • Cross-functional teams
  • SMEs (Subject Matter Experts)

Maintain and update:

  • Proposal content in SharePoint
  • Organizational charts & branding materials
  • Ensure all materials align with:
  • Corporate branding standards
  • Provide senior-level editorial guidance

Ensure content is:

  • Concise
  • Compelling
  • Customer-centric

Act as a liaison between:

  • Technical teams
  • Operations
  • Contracts teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in:
  • Computer Technology, English, Journalism, or related field
  • OR
  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • OR
  • 2 years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree in:
  • Computer Science, IT, English, Journalism, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in:

  • Technical writing
  • Technical process standards development

Advanced skills in:

  • MS Word
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Visible Thread
  • SharePoint
  • Beyond Compare Pro
  • Experienced Technical Writer / Proposal Writer
  • Strong background in government or commercial proposals
  • Expert in editing, compliance, and content structuring
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and leadership
