Job description
We are looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role is primarily focused on architecture design, technical solutioning, and stakeholder advisory, with a strong emphasis on data and AI platforms.
The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into robust architecture blueprints, define high-level and low-level designs, and guide delivery teams in implementing solutions aligned to Azure best practices, security standards, and operational resilience requirements., * Lead end-to-end architecture design for Azure-based enterprise solutions, with a focus on data, analytics, and GenAI platforms.
- Create high-level designs (HLDs) and low-level designs (LLDs) covering application, data, integration, security, network, and platform architecture.
- Define target-state architectures, architecture roadmaps, and transition plans for cloud adoption, modernization, and migration initiatives.
- Ensure solutions align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework, including reliability, security, performance efficiency, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
- Design for scalability, availability, disaster recovery, backup, observability, and governance.
- Provide architecture oversight across the solution lifecycle, including design reviews, risk assessments, and technical decision-making.
- Partner with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and leadership to translate functional and non-functional requirements into practical architecture patterns.
- Establish reusable reference architectures, design standards, and best practices for Azure solution delivery.
- Guide engineering teams during implementation to ensure adherence to approved architecture and enterprise standards.
Requirements

10+ years of experience in cloud, platform, or solution architecture, with strong experience designing enterprise-grade solutions on Azure.

Azure Mastery: Knowledge of workings of ADLS, ADF, Azure Fabric, Synapse, Stream Analytics, Purview, Azure OpenAI Services, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AD, Database knowledge (Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Neo4j)

Proven expertise in architecture design and solution blueprinting for cloud-native and hybrid environments.

Strong understanding of Azure architecture across data, integration, identity, security, and platform services.

Experience architecting modern data and AI solutions using Azure services such as data lakes, data integration, analytics platforms, governance services, and Azure AI capabilities.

Strong grounding in security, access control, networking considerations, resilience, backup/DR, and operational design.

Ability to define architecture for both structured data platforms and emerging GenAI workloads.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience leading architecture workshops, reviewing designs, and mentoring delivery teams. Preferred Azure Exposure Experience with Azure services in areas such as:
