Requirements

This is a build focussed Security Engineer role and you will need to have experience of automation and Scripting as well as practical security experience, particularly policy-based controls such as DLP, TLS inspection and SASE platforms (Palo Alto and/or Zscaler).

The successful candidate will have worked within complex enterprise scale environments and have a proven track record in Security over many years.

Key requirements:

  • Strong practical experience in network security (Firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, zero trust architecture)
  • Hands-on with security tooling (eg, Palo Alto, Prisma SASE, SIEM platforms)
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for deployment and configuration
  • Solid experience with Git for version control and collaborative workflows
  • Ability to build and automate secure infrastructure components (not just design)
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and integration tasks
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for security automation
  • Understanding of identity and access management (IAM), PAM/PIM solutions
  • SSL/TLS decryption and inspection policy implementation
  • Knowledge of cloud security ( Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities
