Job description

As Sr. UX Designer II, you'll lead the visual identity and brand strategy to develop the core UI, establish the design system, and enhance the visual appeal of the data brokerage solution. You'll translate requirements into high-fidelity mockups, develop the brand's visual language, and create foundational UI components. You'll leverage deep visual design expertise to refine and enhance features, ensuring the product has a premium, modern aesthetic from Day 1. You'll collaborate with the UX Lead and data engineering teams to deliver a product that is both functionally logical and visually inspiring. You'll own the creation of external marketing materials (decks, graphics, etc.) to drive the adoption of the program across the community., * Serve as the Visual Design Lead for a large IT/data modernization program.

  • Lead the brand identity development and the front-end UI kit for a new data brokerage solution.
  • Develop externally facing marketing materials for the program to help communicate the value and drive adoption of the solution.
  • Own the visual "look and feel" of the Interface and Interaction Design.
  • Take part in the Agile process, providing high-fidelity visual solutions to complex challenges.
  • Work with an open and motivated team to build the foundational design system that will be used as the foundation to solve client missions.
  • Be responsible for the visual design strategy, graphic identity, and high-fidelity prototyping activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with a strong focus on visual design, branding, and UI systems.
  • Proven ability to apply user-centered design principles to define brand identity, build foundational UI systems, and enhance the overall visual appeal of digital products.
  • Exceptional visual design abilities, supported by a portfolio demonstrating logo creation, color theory, and typography.
  • Demonstrated success building Design System Architecture and UI Kits from scratch, not just working within existing frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in high-fidelity UI design, visual design comps, and responsive web design.
  • Experience with information architecture and creating user-friendly, scalable design structures.
  • Ability to design and translate complex data into clean, professional data visualizations and dashboard interfaces.
  • Strong skills in iconography, vector graphics, and overall visual storytelling.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry standard design tools like Figma.
  • Experience supporting graphic design needs for marketing materials is a plus.

SALARY RANGE: $128,000 - $165,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
