Platform Engineer-JavaScript Frameworks

If you want to build platforms used by hundreds of teams and millions of customers, work with a global group of engineers, partnering closely with our US teammates, grow your skills in modern web platforms, automation, and developer experience and build scalable, developer-focused platforms at eBay this is the role for you! What you will accomplish: Build and ship features for our Node.js and MUSE frameworks. Support developers: debug issues, triage requests, and help in Slack. Own operations: monthly releases, Node.js runtime upgrades, and maintenance. Automate tooling for upgrades; improve CI/CD with NPM, Docker, and Jenkins. Integrate with core systems like SSO, cloud services, logging, metrics, and security. Drive performance and security: test, optimize, and keep dependencies up to date.

3+ years of software development experience. Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React. Experience with modern web tech: React, Webpack, Vite. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with developer tooling and workflows. Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $98,000 - $173,600 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
