Job description

ScolerTec Inc has immediate opening for senior Java software engineer to support a federal agency. The position is fully remote and is part of an agile development team to build solutions in support of mission critical applications., * .Create and maintain front end using JSF, angular and other front end technologies.

  • Create and maintain REST web services using Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Eureka) and Jersey.
  • Improve performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Be part of Agile team and work on the entire lifecycle from requirements, architecture, design, development, testing to deployment.
  • Build and deploy solutions using software development best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of seven years (7+) of specialized experience in software development, architecture and support.
  • Experience in developing software applications using modern technology stack
  • Expert level Java development experience.
  • Proficient in trouble shooting and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in developing RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Spring framework
  • Experience in cloud-based environments.
  • Experience working with ORM tools/frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA. SQL and data modeling experience.
  • Significant experience with Java Server Faces (JSF)
  • Experience with JSP, Servlets and JSF.
  • Experience in analyzing log files generated by servers, Splunk tool and other performance monitoring tools.
  • Experience in technologies and frameworks such as Spring Boot, HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript, Angular, React JS and cloud native applications
