Job description

Ideal Software Solutions is seeking a motivated individual to support the continued growth of our software and infrastructure projects.

We specialise in delivering mobile tablet and portal solutions for the Fundraising, Hydraulic Repair, and Windscreen Replacement sectors. Our flagship CRM platform, Ideal Office, is widely used by both our team and our customers to manage operations efficiently.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering high-quality customer support and training, ensuring our clients gain maximum value from our technology solutions.

This role is based at our head office in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire, where our support and infrastructure team operates. The job will be 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely from your home. You will work as part of a dynamic office environment, providing telephone support, assisting with software testing, and delivering training to both customers and our internal sales team.

Requirements

*Strong customer-support and training skills

*Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team

*Full UK driving licence and access to a car

*Familiarity with Microsoft and Android-based applications ()

A successful candidate will be able to say "yes" to most of the following:

*Confident communicating with customers via phone or Microsoft Teams

*Knowledgeable about Android tablets and smartphones

*Experienced working within Windows environments

*Proficient with Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

*Comfortable using Microsoft Teams

*Able to troubleshoot issues logically, efficiently, and thoroughly

*Strong written and verbal communication skills

*Demonstrated ability to self-organise and stay self-motivated

Additional desirable qualifications and experience include:

*A-Level education or equivalent qualifications, such as BTECs or Microsoft certifications

*Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including the ability to write and run database queries

*Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage 50, Sage 200, Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP
