Job description

Red Arch Solutions is hiring a Principal Backend Software Engineer to join a priority program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer with experience building and testing software components in an Agile environment, producing clear technical documentation, and ensuring high-quality code. The ideal candidate is proficient in Java, C+, or Python, works comfortably with Git, SQL, Postgres, AWS, and collaborates effectively using Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus 20 years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes; or 24 years total of SWE experience on such projects if no qualifying bachelor's degree.
Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components.
Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Experience using Jira and Confluence.
Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software.
Experience with Git.
Experience with Java, C+, Python.
Experience with relational database, such as Postgres.
Experience with SQL.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Salary range for this position: $220,000-224,000
