Security Software Test Engineer

This is a Software Test Engineer position. In this role the candidate works on a team responsible for testing QTI security solutions on Qualcomm chipsets. The role involves a good mix of hands-on testing of the products and software development of test cases and automation using a combination of C/C++, Python and XML. Engineers will be responsible for developing software test applications and test automation which may include the following responsibilities:

· Design test plan to validate security protocol and algorithm and its interaction with other applications.

· Develop and implement test applications at both API level and system level using C and C++. Automating test cases in Python.

· Test execution, troubleshooting and problem resolution on embedded software platforms

· Interact in a team environment with developers, system engineers and tester

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Software development skills in C, C++ and Python.

· Knowledge of cryptography and security protocol is a plus.

· Team player, work independently with minimum supervision

· Verbal and written communication skills

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$89,000.00 - $133,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
