Job description

· As an HR Systems Administrator, you'll take ownership of key people systems - including HRIS, Learning, Recruitment and related systems managing upgrades and enhancements.

· You'll ensure these systems are reliable, secure, and user-friendly - supporting our People teams to work efficiently and with confidence in their data and providing support to internal users.

· You'll also play a central role in transformation and digitisation projects, partnering with DevOps, BI and operational teams to enhance reporting, data integrity, and system integration., · System Maintenance & Configuration: Maintaining the HR systems, implementing updates, and configuring modules (Sage People, Learn Amp, Eploy and recruitment tools).

· Data Integrity & Security: Ensuring data accuracy, performing regular data audits, and managing user permissions and security access.

· Playing a key role in the selection, implementation and optimisation of Compass's new HRIS ECO system, with awareness of the wider HR applications market considered advantageous.

· Reporting & Analytics: Working closely with the BI team to deliver accurate, timely and automated reporting.

· User Support & Guidance: Acting as the first point of contact for HR system queries, troubleshooting, and guiding staff on system functionality.

· Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to automate or streamline HR processes within the system in collaboration with Operational, Procurement and IT teams.

· Vendor Management: Liaising with HR technology vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements

· Ensure compliance with data protection and security standards.

Requirements

You're detail-oriented, analytical and proactive, with a strong background in technology to drive smarter ways of working. You'll bring:

· 3-5 years' experience in systems administration, IT engineering, or advanced support roles.

· Experience with implementing and maintaining HR information systems. (e.g., Sage People, PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)

· Experience in Learning Management Systems (e.g. Learn Amp or similar enterprise systems).

· A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Strong documentation discipline and commitment to systems hygiene.

· Strong understanding of HR data reporting, workflow automation and integration.

· Familiarity with service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira/Confluence or Azure DevOps within Agile environments.

· The confidence to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
