Front End Software Engineer

• Design and develop modern GUI applications for electronic test and measurement systems
• Build data visualisation tools (real-time plots, dashboards, spectrum displays)
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and engineering teams to translate workflows into user-friendly interfaces
• Integrate GUIs with instrument control protocols (e.g. SCPI, USB, Ethernet, serial)
• Optimise performance for real-time data acquisition environments
• Contribute to UX/UI design, wireframes, and workflow improvements
• Develop automated testing tools to ensure reliability and usability
• Support internal teams and customers by troubleshooting and improving GUI functionality

• Experience in web or software development
• Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with UX/UI design principles
• Good aptitude for software development and problem-solving
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Desirable:

• Experience interfacing software with hardware devices
