Backend Developer

• Lead backend development efforts supporting the launch of a customer-facing rate calculator tool.
• Finalize and enhance backend services required to enable upcoming product and planning feature improvements.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate requirements and prototypes into scalable backend solutions.

Our client is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to support a high-visibility product initiative within a fast-paced product studio environment. This role will focus on delivering critical backend functionality for a customer-facing calculator tool and advancing enhancements to an existing planning experience. The ideal candidate is a strong backend engineer who can quickly plug in, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive meaningful progress in a part-time capacity., * 5+ years of backend development experience, including building and maintaining APIs and service-based architectures.

• Proven ability to contribute effectively in fast-moving, product-focused environments with evolving priorities.
• Experience partnering with product and design teams; familiarity with tools like Figma is a plus.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, and modern development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a part-time, delivery-driven role.
