Job description

  • Platform Security Architecture: Architecting core components of distributed platforms and delivering target-level zero-trust (ZT) capabilities in cloud environments (GCP).
  • Declarative Infrastructure: Designing and managing infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and GitOps build/integration pipelines to ensure codebase integrity and a "single source-of-truth."
  • Access Governance: Developing advanced ICAM (, Credential and Access Management) systems and data transformation modules using Go and Python.
  • Low-Level Reliability Engineering: Leveraging expertise in Windows kernel and system-level programming to address complex reliability issues at the driver, network, and storage layers.
  • Protocol Resilience Modeling: Applying deep knowledge of OSI network layers (TCP/IP) and encryption protocols (SSL/TLS, RSA/AES) to establish resilient, secure observability and communication patterns.
  • Modernization Migration: Leading modernization initiatives that transform traditional "click-ops" administration into a software engineering discipline through automation.
  • Cross-Team Leadership: Providing authoritative root-cause assessments for major incidents and mentoring senior/mid-level engineers in Agile/TDD methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years at a senior/principal level., * Distributed Systems Mastery: Expert knowledge of operational architecture, scalability patterns, and highly scalable asynchronous architectures.

  • Automation Frameworks: Mastery in Terraform, Maven, Artifactory, and CI/CD (Gitlab) for automated infrastructure delivery.
  • Security Compliance: Strong capability in operational governance, specifically meeting NIST 800-171/172 (CMMC 2/3) and security-sensitive data requirements.
  • Multi- Proficiency: Deep proficiency in C/C++, Go, Java, and Python, with the ability to adopt new frameworks and as required by the mission.
  • System Diagnostics: Expert-level debugging and problem determination of application, network, and kernel-level components.
  • Strategic Translation: Skill in translating complex technical concepts-such as RDP bitstream analysis or zero-trust criteria-for leadership and stakeholders.

Benefits & conditions

Salary: $180,000-$225,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed.
