Job description
Integration Design & Development (50%)
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday integrations using:
- Workday Studio
- EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Core Connectors
- WECI
- Document Transformation (CSV, JSON, custom XML)
- RaaS (Workday Report as a Service)
- E2E Connectors
- API
- Workday Orchestrate
- Build and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party systems such as post payroll services providers, benefits vendors, background check vendors, ATS platforms, and financial systems
- Partner with IT to manage and support integrations with integration components outside of the Workday ecosystem (REST/SOAP APIs, WebHooks, SFTP file-based integrations, and web service connections)
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient integration solutions
- Design integration architecture that aligns with enterprise data governance and security standards.
System Administration & Support(10%)
Serve as the primary technical owner of the Workday integration landscape
- Partner with IT to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues in a timely manner
- Maintain integration documentation including design specifications, data mapping, and process flows
- Manage integration updates and regression testing during Workday bi-annual release cycles
- Support Workday module implementations and enhancements that require integration development, Partner with HR functional teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning) to gather integration requirements and deliver solutions
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and Data Privacy teams to ensure integrations meet technical and compliance standards
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and IT to establish and maintain file exchange specifications
- Communicate integration status, risks, and timelines to HRIS leadership and project stakeholders
Governance & Best Practices (10%)
- Establish and enforce integration development standards, naming conventions, and change management procedures
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to HRIS Systems Analysts
- Maintain a comprehensive integration inventory and ensure all integrations are documented and version-controlled
- Ensure integrations comply with data privacy policies
- Participate in audit activities and support compliance requirements related to HR data, Lead integration workstream for Workday implementation projects, module deployments, and system upgrades
- Develop project plans, effort estimates, and resource requirements for integration initiatives
- Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Mentor and develop HRIS team members on Workday integration tools and best practices, * Workday Studio & EIB Development

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field
- Experience: 8-10+ years of Workday integration experience
- Workday Tools: Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, PICOF/PECI
- Technical Skills: XML, XSLT, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP
- HR Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Benefits business processes
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead integration projects from requirements through deployment, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively
- Basic understanding of database concepts and data relationships
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with users at all levels
- Customer service orientation with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or Google Workspace equivalents

- Adaptable and comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment, Workday Integration Certification (Workday Pro or equivalent)
- Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, or Compensation modules
- Familiarity with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica
- Experience with Workday Extend or custom application development
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience supporting global Workday environments across multiple countries
- Prior experience in a Workday implementation partner environment
- Exposure to Workday Prism Analytics or reporting integrations, Analytical Thinking - Ability to analyze complex data flows and troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Communication - Translates technical concepts clearly for non-technical HR stakeholders
