Job description

The Software Engineer will support a fast-paced development environment focused on delivering tools that transform complex data into actionable intelligence. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining content presentation capabilities that enable users to effectively view and interact with data. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features, improve existing systems, and advance data parsing and visualization functionality to support analysis and decision-making., * Design and develop software features for data presentation and visualization tools

  • Enhance and maintain existing systems supporting user data interaction
  • Develop and improve parsing and display capabilities for complex datasets
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable and user-focused solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects across the application stack
  • Support transformation of raw data into meaningful, actionable insights
  • Contribute to UI/UX improvements for data exploration tools

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Substitution: Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on similar projects may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Seven (7) years of Software Engineering experience
  • Alternative: Eleven (11) years of experience without a degree

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with Java
  • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Experience developing full stack applications in a data-driven environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with React and Material UI
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Rancher for container orchestration
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
