Job description
- Maintain GIS data layers related to client's mission-related operations and activities
- Develop new GIS data layers and/or new data to enhance existing GIS data layers as necessary to support new client requirements
- Develop and implement GIS-related procedures and processes such as methods to specify, collect, organize, and display geospatial information
- Develop work products (e.g., maps, data tables, data visualization graphics) to support client's reports, briefing materials, and standard operating procedures
- Monitor, prioritize, and communicate status of requests for GIS support
- Coordinate with management, end-users, and other stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement improvements to existing tools and websites that permit end-users to interface with GIS data
- Provide GIS and data management support toward environmental compliance and safety and health programs, including the Environmental Management System (EMS)
Requirements
ERG is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GIS Analyst to support spatial data management, mapping, and geospatial analysis for a variety of infrastructure, environmental, facilities, and planning projects. This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to develop high-quality mapping products, maintain GIS databases, and provide data-driven insights that support client decision-making., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or science
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in ESRI GIS software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communications, time management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
Benefits & conditions
$80,000 - $110,000 a year
