Java Full Stack Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. This role requires deep experience in advanced Java concepts and hands-on delivery across REST APIs, client discussions, and solution proposals. Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Java Full Stack Engineer job responsibilities include: Develop and enhance full-stack Java applications using advanced Java concepts, Core Java, Bootstrap, and REST API frameworks. Design and implement MCP and LLM-based AI agent integrations to support modern, intelligent application features. Collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements, discuss solution options, and align technical delivery with business needs. Participate in architectural discussions and propose scalable, high-quality technical solutions. Work across the full development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, system performance, and successful project delivery.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field. 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Java full-stack development using advanced Java and Core Java concepts. Proven experience integrating MCP, LLMs, or AI agent frameworks into application workflows. Strong background in developing REST APIs and collaborating directly with clients on requirements and solution proposals.
