Job description
Design, develop, and troubleshoot end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Data Lake, PySpark, and related Azure PaaS components. Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using PowerShell and Terraform to automate environment provisioning and configuration. Lead CI/CD pipeline development in Azure DevOps to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and version control of data engineering assets. Ensure cloud security compliance by applying strong security practices across distributed systems, storage accounts, key vaults, and data flows. Provide production support following ITIL standards, ensuring stability, performance, and timely resolution of issues across data platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows, improve performance, and enable effective use of Azure Data Lake and analytics tools.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master's preferred). 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering and cloud data platform development. Proven expertise in Azure Data technologies including ADF, ADB, Data Lake, PySpark, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/PowerShell). Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and experience supporting production environments following ITIL processes.
