Job description

The Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) team is seeking a Data Platform Analyst to support a high-impact initiative focused on enabling trusted, well-governed data across the organization., * Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, pain points, and use cases

  • Support discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and product inputs

Process & Workflow Design

  • Document current and future state processes across data intake, governance, and platform usage
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardization
  • Develop process maps, workflows, SOPs, and decision frameworks

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Create and maintain:
  • Requirements documentation
  • Process guides and SOPs
  • Decision logs and meeting summaries
  • Knowledge base content and reusable templates
  • Improve organization, accessibility, and usability of documentation across the platform

Product & Platform Support

  • Support backlog organization, prioritization, and tracking
  • Coordinate across product, engineering, governance, and business teams
  • Assist in roadmap planning, sprint support, and stakeholder updates

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in:
  • Business Analysis
  • Product / Program Analysis
  • Product Operations or Technology Delivery Support
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting requirements, processes, and workflows
  • Proven ability to translate complex discussions into clear, structured outputs
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Visio, or similar

  • Strong organizational and analytical mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on clarity, structure, and usability, * Experience supporting data platforms, analytics environments, or cloud-based systems
  • Familiarity with data governance, data access workflows, or metadata management
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies, backlog management, and sprint planning
  • Experience in federal, financial, or regulated environments
