Your work will ensure product quality and smooth releases while collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders. This is an onsite role in San Jose with a defined contract period, working full-time hours. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Write and maintain test specifications and automated test scripts
  • Apply and enforce test methodology, test life cycle, and bug life cycle processes
  • Troubleshoot issues and diagnose root causes in production and test environments
  • Collaborate closely with development teams and work in an Agile/Scrum process
  • Use CI/CD tools (Jenkins) to integrate and run automated tests

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (Bachelor's or Master's a plus)
  • Minimum 2-3 years (noted 2-5 yrs) of experience in quality assurance and automation
  • Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals and common testing methodologies
  • Experience developing test automation frameworks and systems
  • Proficiency with scripting/programming (JavaScript, Python, Java, ActionScript noted)
  • Experience with Jenkins and troubleshooting on Linux
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and with remote teams
