Test Automation Consultant

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks. A passion for design and hands-on coding experience A proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and refining our applications. The ability to work with cross-functional teams and do software integration., * Capital Markets & Asset Management Domain, Test Automation, Agile Methodologies.

• Hands-on test automation experience with Capital Market/Asset Management platforms domain knowledge.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience using Jira for sprint tracking and test management, including test case design, test execution, and comprehensive defect documentation.

• Experience with test frameworks such as BDD, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar.

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience working with version control systems such as Git

• Hands-on experience with SQL for backend data validation and test data analysis., * Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools to improve test automation productivity and code quality.

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts in testing, such as: AI-assisted test case generation Intelligent test maintenance and self-healing locators Test optimization using AI-driven insights.

• Familiarity with AI-powered testing or QA tools and modern quality engineering practices.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.

• Familiarity with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and/or Ranorex for functional and regression test automation

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).

• Exposure to API automation tools (REST Assured, Postman, Playwright API testing).

• Experience testing applications deployed on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), * Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
