Job description

  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex Database Engineering initiatives and deliverables.
  • Review and analyze engineering challenges requiring in?depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel to meet Database Engineering deliverables.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines supporting analytics and reporting workloads.
  • Support migration from Teradata to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including environment setup and stakeholder engagement.
  • Leverage in ETL, Pyspark, Hadoop, and Abinitio to design scalable data solutions.
  • Provide strategic guidance on schema design, dimensional modeling, and governance for high?performance analytics.
  • Perform ad?hoc troubleshooting, occasionally requiring after?hours support.

Requirements

  • Experience in SQL, ETL, Pyspark, Autosys, and Abinitio.
  • Experience with large?scale data platforms, preferably Teradata and GCP.
  • Experience in design and implement secure, scalable data pipelines.
  • Experience with GCP BigQuery, Hadoop, Dremio, and S3 storage grid.
  • Google Cloud Certification.
  • Familiarity with Teradata migrations and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Exposure to AI tool usage in interview processes (awareness for candidate screening).

Benefits & conditions

Pay Range: $55/hr to $60/hr
