L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Specialist - Mission Systems to join our Greenville, TX team. This position is responsible for Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of Operator Workstation capabilities multiple platforms and programs. Responsible for issue investigation and resolution. Responsible for submitting Bid and proposals. Requirements
- Considerable Systems or Software Engineering experience as a Subject Matter Expert working with Operator Interfaces.
- Comprehensive Knowledge to write capability/product requirement specifications.
- Able to work with customer, system engineers and system architects to develop requirements.
- Ability to test and troubleshoot Operator Interfaces on various platforms and programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with software developers to explain requirements and use cases when needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities a must., * Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related experience
- Ability to communicate within and outside the organization which includes customers or vendors
- Works with minmal supervision/oversight. Experience working successfully independently and in a team environment through an entire build cycle
- Understanding of systems engineering life cycle
- Active DOD TS/SCI Clearance is required to be considered
- Abilty to obtain CompTIA Security+ within 12 months
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with IBM DOORS Requirements Management Tool
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence and the Agile process
- Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator Interfaces
- Security+ Certification
