Job description
This role will support the development, qualification, and certification of advanced In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) systems for commercial aircraft. The successful candidate will contribute to system-level integration and test activities with a focus on DO-160 environmental testing, Boeing and Airbus qualification testing, design verification, and acceptance testing.. This position will be located at our office in Melbourne, FL., + Perform system integration and testing of IFC systems in laboratory and qualification environments

Conduct DO-160 environmental and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) tests and support Boeing and Airbus aircraft-level qualification campaigns

Support requirements traceability and flowdown from customer/system requirements to test cases

Develop and execute design verification and acceptance test procedures

Support structural and birdstrike testing

Perform system troubleshooting during integration and test activities

Document results in test reports, discrepancy reports, and qualification summaries

Collaborate with design engineering, systems engineering, and certification teams to resolve integration and qualification issues

Participate in internal and external reviews with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities as needed
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, related field or combination of education and experience

2 years of experience working in the aerospace or commercial aviation industry

Prior experience with DO-160 environmental qualification testing and test processes for aerospace equipment
Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of systems engineering practices, including requirements decomposition and traceability

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document test procedures and results

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Experience with aircraft integration projects

Knowledge of in-flight connectivity, avionics, or communication systems.

Knowledge of structural and loads analysis

Hands-on experience in test lab environments, including instrumentation and troubleshooting

Familiarity with certification processes and customer acceptance testing

Basic knowledge of FAA/EASA processes

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
