Job description

Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, securing, and optimizing scalable cloud solutions while driving DevOps automation and cloud-native delivery across platforms. Rate Range: $75/hour to $79/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Enterprise Architect Job Responsibilities include: Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions primarily on AWS and AliCloud to meet business and technical requirements. Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and Chef to ensure repeatable and automated cloud deployments. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools, embedding security, quality, and automated testing into delivery workflows. Develop automation scripts and solutions in Python and Bash to improve system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. Architect and manage cloud-native services, databases, and container platforms including Kubernetes, Aurora, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and DynamoDB. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 8-10 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 3+ years in a Cloud Architect role focused on AWS and AliCloud. Strong hands-on experience architecting and delivering cloud solutions on AWS and AliCloud using IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices. Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and cost optimized cloud architectures while collaborating with cross functional teams in an agile environment.
