Microsoft Fabric Developer

We are seeking a Microsoft Fabric Developer to build and implement our next-generation data platform. You will be responsible for the hands-on development of data solutions from scratch within Microsoft Fabric, focusing on migrating existing Azure Databricks workloads and Microsoft BI reports into a unified, high-performance architecture., * From-Scratch Development: Build and configure Fabric Lakehouses and Warehouses, establishing the initial data structures and ingestion patterns.

• Workload Migration: Replicate and optimize existing Azure Databricks notebooks and Azure Data Factory pipelines within the Fabric Data Factory and Notebook environments.
• Data Engineering: Develop end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark, T-SQL, and Dataflows Gen2 to support a Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Reporting & Modeling: Develop complex Power BI reports using Direct Lake mode and transition legacy SSRS/SSAS models into Fabric Semantic Models.
• Integration: Implement OneLake Shortcuts to connect disparate data sources and utilize Mirroring for real-time data access.

• Fabric Development: Hands-on experience with Fabric Notebooks, Lakehouses, and Data Factory orchestration.
• Databricks Expertise: Strong proficiency in PySpark and Delta Lake for advanced data transformation and optimization.
• Microsoft BI Stack: Advanced skills in Power BI, DAX, and T-SQL for building intuitive, high-speed analytical layers.
• Migration Execution: Proven experience refactoring legacy SQL or Spark code into modern cloud-native formats.
• Security & DevOps: Practical experience with Fabric Git Integration for version control and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS)., * 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or BI Development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric in a production or pilot environment.
• Deep knowledge of the Azure data ecosystem.
