Job description
R Systems International is seeking a rare 'T-shaped' data professional who combines elite business communication with hands-on technical execution. This is not a purely research or build role - you are a problem-solver who navigates corporate complexity and sub-optimal tech stacks to deliver executive-ready solutions. You will own end-to-end delivery: from interpreting ambiguous executive requests all the way to automating the final data pipeline. You will also serve as a technical coach and mentor for junior staff, elevating team output and accountability. Responsibilities
- Executive Presence: Serve as an exceptional communicator with active listening skills, consistently delivering polished, high-impact results for senior leadership with zero cleanup required.
- Executive-Level Delivery: Anticipate the "so what?" behind data requests; put on an executive hat to ensure outputs are decision-ready and compelling.
- Team Lead & Mentor: Serve as technical and professional coach for junior staff; envision and deliver team-wide solutions (new tools, new approaches to standard deliverables).
- Rapid Structured Delivery: Own end-to-end analytics project lifecycles with urgency - often within 48-72 hour windows.
- Intelligent Automation: Build scalable workflows using LLMs and Python to ensure work is reusable and faster than manual processes; experience with orchestrators and schedulers is a strong plus.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Find creative workarounds for technical hurdles, permission blocks, and shifting priorities without losing momentum
Requirements
- Fluent in SQL and Python (mid-level proficiency required; advanced is a plus).
- Practical experience with LLMs and prompt engineering; ability to articulate risks and limitations and build creative solutions beyond standard use cases.
- Strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and pipeline automation.
Business Acumen & Domain Expertise
- High-polish presentation skills; composed and confident in front of executives.
- Experience with Sales, Retention, and/or Call Center teams; ability to empathize with agents and leaders, anticipate needs, and understand pain points.
- History of setting own milestones, meeting deadlines, and taking 100% ownership of code and results.
- High tolerance for rapid pivoting and organizational complexity; views sub-optimal tech stacks as a puzzle, not a barrier
Bonus Points
- Proven experience using orchestrators to automate repetitive tasks and data flows.
- Background in graphic design or ability to build intuitive, visually compelling decks and dashboards.
