Job description
We are looking for a senior-level AWS Cloud Data Engineer to lead the design and development of large-scale data platforms. This role focuses on building data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses in AWS and ensuring the data is reliable, scalable, and available for analytics and reporting., * Lead a team of data engineers to design and build data pipelines in AWS
- Develop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and data integration systems
- Build and manage ETL / ELT processes to move data from multiple systems
- Work with large structured and unstructured datasets
- Ensure data is accurate, secure, scalable, and high-performance
- Design data models for reporting and analytics
- Support business teams by delivering clean and reliable data
- Follow best practices for data quality, auditing, and reliability
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud, including:
- S3
- Redshift
- Kafka
- Other AWS data services
- Strong Java development experience
- ETL / ELT pipeline development
- Experience with SQL (expert level)
- Experience with data warehousing and data modeling
- Spark / Scala experience (preferred)
- Experience with Hadoop or big data platforms
- Experience using Git, Artifactory, and DevOps tools
- Ability to lead technical teams
