- Perform the implementation, configuration, and administration of messaging environments, including Exchange Online and Exchange Server
- Perform data migrations from various sources, including Exchange, G Suite, GoDaddy, and IMAP sources
- Serve as a national resource and escalation point for projects across all regions
- Identifying and escalating cross selling opportunities
- Establishing rapport and trust with key client decision makers
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with external clients
- Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects at once
Requirements
Working with current and prospective clients of the Firm, use your talents to implement and manage secure messaging environments, provide training to technical and non-technical staff, and troubleshoot technical issues for a variety of companies. Learn and grow your credentials by attending professional conferences, obtain certifications to expand your professional knowledge of Messaging Infrastructure. The Messaging Engineer will work as a business advisor to provide timely, high quality client service to our mid-market clientele. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and oral), problem solving skills, a strong work ethic, and good client relations., * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience and technical certification
- Minimum three to five years' experience with related technologies such as Microsoft Exchange Server, Office 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory., * IT consulting experience with mid-market clients a plus
- Microsoft or other similar manufacturer specific certifications
- Experience with email migration tools such as BitTitan, SkyKick, and AvePoint
- Experience with Hybrid Exchange migrations
- Experience with Microsoft 365 implementation and administration
- Experience with 3rd Party Email Security Services as well as Defender for Office 365
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Batch, VB) is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide hands-on technical support
