The MES Syncade Senior Engineer is responsible for leading the design, implementation, administration, and support of the Emerson Syncade Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role focuses on MES platform administration, recipe authoring, electronic batch records (EBR), system upgrades, and ongoing operational support to ensure compliant, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.
The engineer partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and Planning teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into robust MES solutions. Key responsibilities include Syncade platform administration, MES recipe authoring, QRM/label/report development, system enhancements, UAT coordination, change control execution, and master data management. The role also provides technical guidance, training, troubleshooting, and rotational on-call support, while ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA regulations .
Requirements
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in Syncade MES , SQL Server , system integrations (OPC, ODBC, APIs), and manufacturing systems within a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment, combined with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and support continuous improvement.
Benefits & conditions
Compensation: - $80,000 to $100,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 5/24/2026
