Job description
As the IT Support & Asset Coordinator, you will be the "keeper of the gear." Your primary responsibility is ensuring that every employee has the right equipment, properly configured and tracked. This is a hands-on position that involves physical hardware management and basic technical troubleshooting., Hardware Provisioning: Follow checklists to set up and configure iPhones, iPads, Chromebooks, and Laptops for new hires.
Asset Tracking: Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware using Track-It! (BMC). Every move, add, or change must be logged.
Deployment & Recovery: Manage the physical distribution of hardware and the intake/sanitization of equipment returned during employee offboarding.
Level 1 Support: Perform basic hardware troubleshooting (resolving monitor display issues, testing/replacing bad Cat5 cables, troubleshooting small hubs/switches).
Software Installation: Install and configure basic productivity software, including Microsoft Office suite.
Inventory Control: Maintain a clean and organized stock room; alert management when stock levels are low.
Requirements
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy? We are looking for a reliable individual to manage our hardware lifecycle and provide first-line technical support for our team in Severna Park., Proven ability to follow technical checklists with 100% accuracy. Basic understanding of computer hardware and connectivity (HDMI, USB-C, Ethernet/Cat5). Familiarity with Apple (iOS) and Windows environments. Experience with inventory or asset management software is a plus. Strong organizational skills-you enjoy keeping things orderly and documented. Ability to work 100% on-site in Severna Park, MD.
