Requirements
We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Developer with substantial Python experience for a role in the financial services sector. This position involves designing and developing complex server-side components for front-office derivatives risk systems. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with stakeholders to manage complex requirements and deliver effective solutions., Education: A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is required.
Experience: A minimum of five years of strong Python development experience is necessary. Experience in financial services, specifically with derivatives risk systems, is also required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python is mandatory. Familiarity with Java is optional. An understanding of Agile and Lean development practices and associated tools is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Quartz technology stack.
- Understanding of pricing and risk, including the structure and pricing of derivative products.
- Domain knowledge of derivatives risk, such as Greeks and Scenarios.
- Product knowledge of Equity Derivatives, including Futures, Options, and Convertibles.
Benefits & conditions
The anticipated pay range for this position is $63.00 to $68.26 per hour. The actual pay rate will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other factors permitted by law.
